The natural active ingredient in biorepell® 2.0 consists of lemon eucalyptus leaf extract. Our successful carrier is made from plant-based raw materials and, in combination with five essential oils, is responsible for the long-lasting effect. Products based on water or commercial alcohol evaporate very quickly. biorepell® 2.0, however, lasts much longer, and due to its slightly oily consistency it wraps itself around every single hair of the horse's coat, caring for and protecting it.
biorepell® 2.0 provides lasting protection against insect stings and bites by "confusing" the insects' olfactory organs so that they cannot locate the host. This is much more effective and effective than covering up the horses' body odor.
biorepell® 2.0 has a cooling, soothing effect and cares for the skin and coat, even on sensitive horses, especially summer eczema. This means that they do not have to be additionally treated with spray, oil or lotion against the itching.
In the natural combination, biorepell is also suitable for use on humans and dogs and keeps troublemakers and bloodsuckers away.

This is how you use biorepell® 2.0 optimally:
biorepell® 2.0 is simply sprayed evenly and completely onto the coat or applied to sensitive areas (such as mucous membranes or near the eyes) with a soft cloth/sponge.
The application can be repeated as often as you like. biorepell® 2.0 is water-soluble and should be sprayed on in good time after rain, sweaty activities, etc. It can be brushed out or washed out if necessary.
Mode of action of biorepell® 2.0
Citriodiol® can be used as an effective herbal alternative to synthetic active ingredients. The PMD it contains is considered to be one of the most effective natural agents: it can achieve about the same protective effect against insects as with low concentrations of DEET.
Characteristic is the strong smell of lemon, which unfolds as soon as you touch the eucalyptus leaves. The manufacturing process is much more involved than making a synthetic repellent. Therefore, repellents with PMD are often more expensive than those with synthetically produced active ingredients.
