Olimond BB ist ein Ergänzungsfuttermittel und das Produkt einer speziellen Fermentation und schonenden Trocknung der Hefe Saccharomyces cerevisiae und ist somit eine inaktivierte Hefe (nicht zu verwechseln mit der Bierhefe, die bei Brauprozessen anfällt!), die keine Gärungsprozesse im Magen-Darmtrakt des Pferdes verursacht. Die wichtigen Hefefaktoren, B-Vitamine und die Fermentationsprodukte bleiben erhalten. Der Unterschied zu anderen Hefeprodukten liegt darin, dass die sehr wichtigen Stoffwechselprodukte (Metaboliten) der Hefen nicht erst im Magen des Pferdes gebildet werden müssen, sondern genau diese Stoffwechselprodukte werden mit Olimond BB gefüttert. Durch einige Stellschrauben bei der Fermentation haben wir die Anzahl der Metaboliten sogar noch erhöhen können. Olimond BB ist ein Postbiotikum, das im Dickdarm des Pferdes den „guten“ und wichtigen Mikroorganismen der Darmflora als Nahrung dient. Zusätzlich zu den bereits enthaltenen Vitaminen enthält Olimond BB noch eine Extraportion Vitamin E und durch Fermentation gewonnenes Vitamin C. Beide Vitamine bieten einen Zell- und Oxidationsschutz und gelten als erfolgreiches Antioxidans. Olimond BB wird einmal täglich in einer Dosis von ca. 15 Gramm gefüttert. In this product we combine a liquid fermentation component with vitamin K1, which is occurs naturally in green plants and with vitamin D, which is activated by sunlight. Production, especially in winter is restricted by long periods spent in stables. It plays a key role in the calcium/ phosphorus metabolism. Studies point to the importance of vitamin K for bone metabolism with its formation and remodelling processes, blood clotting and the functionality of the vascular membranes. Horses absorb vitamin K1 from fresh green plants , but in roughage it is broken down very quickly during storage.
