Olimond BB bone ensures a functional bone metabolism, not only during the growth of young horses, but generally during regeneration. In this product we combine a liquid fermentation component with vitamin K1, which is occurs naturally in green plants and with vitamin D, which is activated by sunlight. Production, especially in winter is restricted by long periods spent in stables. It plays a key role in the calcium/ phosphorus metabolism. Studies point to the importance of vitamin K for bone metabolism with its formation and remodelling processes, blood clotting and the functionality of the vascular membranes. Horses absorb vitamin K1 from fresh green plants , but in roughage it is broken down very quickly during storage. Many horses have rarely or never graze or are kept in areas where no high-quality and suitable green plants grow. Olimond BB bone can compensate for the lack of vitamin K and thus ensure the supply of growing and adult horses during the winter or during stable stays.

The natural production of vitamin K2 by microbes in the horse’s large intestine is also optimised by an adequate supply of K1 from Olimond BB bone.

The fermentation component in Olimond BB bone serves as an important factor for optimisation of the microbiome. In this way we combine important factors influencing the microorganisms in the large intestine and bone function that has never existed before in this combination.

5.10 % crude protein, 1.60 % crude fat, 1.20 % crude fiber, 4.20 % crude ash, 7.14 % moisture, 0.03 % sodium

85 % inactivated yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae), 0.5 % isomaltulose

Feeding recommendation:

Normal bone growth/metabolism: adult: 20 ml/day, foals/young horses: 15 ml/day

Increased dose at the start of feeding or in case of developmental disorders (4 -6 weeks): Adult: 30ml /day, foals/young horses: 20ml /day

8 - 12 weeks minimum
