For the horses!
Out of passion, of course.

I am a journalist and managing director of a creative agency that mainly works for veterinary medicine companies and I am the maker of the podcast "Sattelfest - The Podcast on Horse Health". Even as a child my heart belonged to horses and for many years my own horses have dominated my free time.

I have been establishing the biological insect repellent spray biorepell active horse protect since 2017 and have since sensitized horse owners to deal more intensively with the ingredients in care products.

My Freiberger Tyrion was the real trigger for this. With only one fly on his body, he wants to throw himself on the ground and throw all his hooves in the air. He always reacted very violently to the sprays I had used on my horses for years. That made me change my mind. Many active substances and ingredients are aggressive to the skin and airways of humans and animals. Some are so-called contact poisons that also kill the beneficial insects. Unfortunately, what is often forgotten is that horses' noses are many times better than ours and perceive the sometimes unpleasant smells of insect repellent sprays much more clearly.

I also deal intensively with the topic of feeding, which unfortunately is completely underestimated. At BB horses, the focus is absolutely on the health of the horses and with the support of independent experts from the scientific community, we were able to launch Olimond BB, a supplementary feed that has never existed before and is absolutely PRO horses.

I have adapted both products to the needs of cats, dogs and humans due to the positive effects that I have observed in and on the horse; further ideas are currently being developed. But I could never do all this on my own and am very grateful that my husband got involved in “the experiment”, as he calls it as a scientist, and that he stands behind me 100 percent and supports me.
